Give me! Give me! Give me!

Recently, I've found a unique art media that I find to be very fun.
I've purchased linoleum that's mounted on wooden blocks, a good set
of carving knives and I'm having a wonderful time carving, and then
painting each carved piece with acrylic paints.

This is very time consuming and by the time I'm finished carving flowers,
birds or whatever… my hands are cramped, and it's difficult straightening-out
my fingers for a while. However… this process is worth it to me, because
then I get to use my bold and bright paints to help bring my carvings to life.

I've never seen any art pieces quite like this in my town and feel like I might
be onto something here, with my newly found art expressions.

After the art piece is finished, I spray with Krylon Clear Gloss to preserve the
entire surface.
